Mission

The mission of the Columbia Alumni Association of Cleveland is to foster and promote awareness of Columbia University throughout Cleveland and Northeast Ohio.

Objectives

Columbia Alumni Association of Cleveland creates opportunities for members to learn about and engage in:

- Social and professional networking

- Educational enrichment and scholarship (Lifelong learning)

- Open Interaction with prospective students, alums, faculty and staff

- Volunteerism & “giving back” to the Northeast Ohio region

- Discourse related to our diverse Columbia experiences

- Celebrating the rich history and tradition of Columbia University

The mission of the University-Wide Columbia Alumni Association (CAA) is to allow the members of the University’s worldwide alumni community to strengthen its bonds of fellowship; to sustain the connection between them and the University; to act as a means through which they can contribute their collective knowledge and perspective to the life of the University; and to develop from their ranks effective and responsive leadership.
