WOW! Wade Oval Wednesdays + Fireworks!!!

When: 

June 27, Wednesday, 6-9:30pm

What:

Bring yourself or your family and join fellow Columbia alumni and others in the community to picnic en plein air in Wade Oval, listen to live music, and watch scores of people enjoying the outdoors. Music this evening will be provided by Carlos Jones & The P.L.U.S. Band (Reggae);

Fireworks will begin at 9pm.

Cost:

Free admission. CAA will provide a picnic dinner, but you are also welcome to purchase food from food trucks or bring your own fare, as you prefer. No tents, umbrellas, or open flames are allowed. It looks like beer and wine will be available for sale.

Location:

At 6pm, we will meet in front of the entrance to the Western Reserve Historical Society, 10825 East Blvd., Cleveland, OH 44106. We will hold blue balloons.

At 6:20, we will walk over to a picnic blanket. If you arrive after 6:20, please text Yvonne and she can guide you to our seated location near 1 Wade Oval Dr, Cleveland, OH 44106.  Look for our group sitting with blue balloons.

Directions and parking options:

This event is usually very crowded! Parking can be difficult. Public transportation options to University Circle include GCRTA's HealthLine, Red line, and eight (8) bus lines. Parking is available at lots for a fee at The Cleveland Museum of Natural History, Cleveland Botanical Garden, Cleveland History Center, and The Cleveland Museum of Art. Rates vary.
